CB2000 and free "over-air" WiFi.

This is an interesting idea and one that can work if you have a connection with your free wifi provider. Free WiFi is getting more and more common, like the Buckhead district of Atlanta or the Argrenta Downtown district in Arkansas. There are many more places that could make my list probably, including your town or at least a district in it.

Usually the free WiFi provider will have to open up an IP that allows for a constant connection. The reason for this is that they will want to conserve bandwidth which means they dont allow a single device to be connected indefinitely. There could be a fee involved here but it could be well worth it to be able to have the clocks anywhere in their coverage area that you like.

You could have these clocks all over town!
